God the Mother
Although we cannot see God, we can clearly understand God through the things He made.
They know the truth about God because he has made it obvious to them. For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.
Romans 1:19-20 (NLT)
The nature of things God made teaches about the most important gift we can receive from God: eternal life. Even the blessing of eternal life is given to us in accordance with nature.
Looking at God’s creation, how does life come about? Through a father and a mother—there is no exception. This providence of God teaches us that we will receive eternal life when we believe in God the Father and God the Mother. God communicates the existence of God the Mother not only through plants, animals and our own family, but also through various teachings of the Bible.
Heaven Compared to a Wedding Banquet
At Christ’s first coming, He left a very important teaching for the people who were to come in a later generation.
Jesus again used stories to teach them. He said, “The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding feast for his son. The king invited some people to the feast. When the feast was ready, the king sent his servants to tell the people, but they refused to come. . . . After that, the king said to his servants, ‘The wedding feast is ready. I invited those people, but they were not worthy to come. So go to the street corners and invite everyone you find to come to my feast.’ So the servants went into the streets and gathered all the people they could find, both good and bad. And the wedding hall was filled with guests. When the king came in to see the guests, he saw a man who was not dressed for a wedding. The king said, ‘Friend, how were you allowed to come in here? You are not dressed for a wedding.’ But the man said nothing. So the king told some servants, ‘Tie this man’s hands and feet. Throw him out into the darkness, where people will cry and grind their teeth with pain.’ Yes, many are invited by only a few are chosen.”
Matthew 22:1-14 (NCV)
In this story, Jesus likened the kingdom of heaven to a wedding banquet. The king represents God, the son and bridegroom represent Jesus, and the guests represent the people of God. Being invited to this wedding banquet represents God’s invitation to enter the kingdom of heaven.
And the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding feast of the Lamb.” And he added, “These are the true words that come from God.”
Revelation 19:9 (NLT)
However, even though this wedding feast is the greatest blessing to look forward to, it can’t happen without the main figure of the wedding: the bride. Just because Jesus did not explicitly mention a bride doesn’t mean there isn’t one. Jesus could have likened the kingdom of heaven to any other type of celebration. But the fact that He made the story revolve around a wedding tells us there definitely is a bride. She was just not ready at that time 2,000 years ago.
The Bride Appears in Our Time
Apostle John mentioned the wedding of the Lamb in the book of Revelation, which was written around A.D. 96. At that time, God gave him a vision of the future. And in that future, the bride finally appears.
“Let us be glad and rejoice, and let us give honor to him. For the time has come for the wedding feast of the Lamb, and his bride has prepared herself. She has been given the finest of pure white linen to wear.” For the fine linen represents the good deeds of God’s holy people.
Revelation 19:6-8 (NLT)
Finally, in the last days, the wedding of the Lamb takes place. In other words, Jesus (Jn 1:29) appears again with His Bride. So it’s important to clearly understand the exact identity of the Bride.
One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.” And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.
Revelation 21:9-10
The angel that gave Apostle John this Revelation from Jesus (Rev 1:1) and showed him the Bride of Christ coming down from heaven.
But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother.
Galatians 4:26
Apostle Paul explained to the Early Church about the God the Mother. But during that time, She was in heaven. However, in the book of Revelation, when Apostle John saw the vision of the last days, the heavenly Jerusalem—the Bride of the Lamb—is coming down out of heaven.
Our Mother Gives Us Eternal Life
The Bride is our Heavenly Mother who makes Herself ready in our time to give us spiritual eternal life. Just as God designed all nature for mothers to give life, only God the Mother can give our spirits birth and life.
The world was not good enough for them [the disciples and apostles of the Early Church]! They wandered in deserts and mountains, living in caves and holes in the earth. All these people are known for their faith, but none of them received what God had promised. God planned to give us something better so that they would be made perfect, but only together with us.
Hebrews 11:38-40 (NCV)
The One who perfects our faith has appeared. She is God the Mother. Together, God the Father and God the Mother call all people of the world to receive Them and take the gift They have prepared—the gift of eternal life.
The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” Let anyone who hears this say, “Come.” Let anyone who is thirsty come. Let anyone who desires drink freely from the water of life.
Revelation 22:17 (NLT)
Two thousand years ago, Jesus came to the earth by Himself and taught us all the prophecies concerning Himself so that we may believe He is God who came to save us. He set the example for us to follow as Christians and that is why more than a third of the world’s population today believe in Him as the Savior. However, Jesus left us a very important teaching—that in our age, He would come again and bring us the Bride, God the Mother, who grants us eternal life.
